"Art Nerds and Band Geeks"
Brent Green came down from his barn in upstate Pennsylvania to present a show of his beautifully delicate animations, which he makes using sharpie markers and sheets of plastic. His shorts were accompanied by a musical and vocal performance by himself and the band French Toast from Washington DC, with special guest Brendan Canty (FUGAZI, Rites of Spring) on keyboards. The show opened with Philly animators Juliet Wayne and Andrew Jeffrey Wright providing live soundtracks for several of their animations as well. Thanks to Matt from Vox for the tech help!
